River Deltas! Landforms or Artforms?

The Lena river delta in Russia. NASA
The Mississippi River Delta entering the Gulf of Mexico. NASA

The Ganges River delta. Taken by space shuttle Columbia. Created by a glacier almost 22,100 feet in the Himalayas, the delta is 200 miles wide is one of the best places in the world for plants to grow because of its fertile soil! It is always changing shape because of the weathering, erosion and new deposition constantly happening. The southern part of the delta even has a forest that is home to a tiger preservation where many exotic tigers live!
