The PongSats have been shipped back and should arrive any day this week!

PongSat Mission Video Link April 2013!

On April 6th 2013, 80 of my fifth grade students got a chance to send a pingpong ball, containing any small object, to the edge of space (100,000ft).The pongSats undergo sub-zero temperatures (-90f), cosmic rays from the sun and zero gravity as they plunge back to earth. This is a free program provided by JP Aerospace, in California, who will be sending their 10,000th pongSat up with our mission!  The students will have their Pongs returned to them, along with a certificate and DVD of the mission.
